Our first and foremost mission and goal is to help bright and promising 8th graders who come from poor families get a good high school education at SAS by sponsoring their 9th & 10th junior high school years and their 11th & 12th senior high school years. We have a locally based Field Team headed by Mr Albert D Bunoan tasked with taking care of the welfare of our scholars. Our organization participates in active community outreach during Town Fiestas, disasters, and natural calamities.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Natural Disasters: SAS Ai, Inc. donated PhP 50,000 to the LGU Tagudin, Ilocos Sur, and PhP 6,000 to St. Augustine's School to be distributed as assistance by the municipality and by the school to victims of typhoon "Peping". Our donation was collected from a great number of generous donors who actively support the misssion of SAS Ai, Inc.
Tagudin Town Fiesta: The SAS Ai president, Atty Romeo J Somera personally awarded the SAS Ai trophy to the reigning Fiesta Queen. The trophy promoted the idea that Education is Freedom. In addition to the trophy, SAS Ai set up and maintained a SAS Ai KIOSK information booth, giving away many free souvenir items, such as, T-shirts, baseball caps, tote bags, pens, mugs to all who came to inquire about our mission. Our participation in the town fiesta was not limited to the Queen's trophy and the information KIOSK. We also hosted an open-to-all community picnic at Dardarat beach serving close to 1800 people. More people came after the initial wave but we never ran out of food. Families came, individuals came and even the children came by themselves. All who came were fed. Then to cap the town fiesta participation event we hosted a Community Ball, complete with a live band, raffle prizes, and recognition awards being bestowed to worthy recipients. The parents of the scholars and the scholars themselves helped the Field Team with the stage set up and take down, ushering services .
Social & Cultural Outreach: The president also took time to present and recognize publicly all SAS Ai scholars for their academic achievements at having been selected as SAS Ai scholars. The Mayor of Tagudin acknowledged SAS Ai's participation in the town fiesta activities as valuable cultural and social outreach to the Tagudin community.
FIELD TEAM ON CAMPUS
Our Field Team, headed by Mr Albert D Bunoan (center) is a group of hard working professionals. They are teachers, accountants, business entrepreneurs and community leaders. They do their Field Team duties voluntarily in addition to their daily business activities.
We are very proud of our Field Team. They are the face of SAS Ai, Inc. on campus, in and around town, and most certainly in the provinces of Ilocos Sur and La Union.
One of their main tasks is to screen applicants to the scholarship program and make recommendations to the Scholarship Committee. The Field Team looks after the welfare of all scholars including providing school supplies, leadership, and guidance.
As a side note, there are groups, individuals, foundations who "sponsor" kids through school but don't have any way of monitoring how their beneficiary is doing. In stark contrast, the SAS Ai, Inc. Field Team monitors the progress of the beneficiary scholar at all times. This makes the SAS Ai, Inc. scholarship program the most efficient, most effective, most coveted, sought after, and the Gold Standard.

This is a proud moment for all of us. Our scholars work hard academically, help at home assiduously, and participate in community volunteer work whenever possible. Kudos goes to our Field Team for the great job they've done taking care of our scholars.
